Verifying the standards of organization and attesting the physician recognition is referred to as Physician Credentialing. These criteria are directly related to the quality of patient care. Sometimes, medical costs are not reimbursed in Telehealth. This reimbursement is independent of location, it mainly depends on tele-consultation, rural health clinics and practitioner’s office. Patient Privacy is the utmost important issue in any health service. It is the right of the individual either to disclose or not to disclose about his medical history. It is the responsibility of the specific physician or other medical staff to maintain the confidentiality of the patient’s profile.

Scope and Importance

Telemedicine is a rapidly developing application of clinical medicine where medical information is transferred through the phone or the Internet and sometimes other networks for the purpose of consulting, and sometimes remote medical procedures or examinations. It may be as simple as two health professionals discussing a case over the telephone, or as complex as using satellite technology and video-conferencing equipment to conduct a real-time consultation between medical specialists in two different countries. Telemedicine generally refers to the use of communications and information technologies for the delivery of clinical care. It is the use of telecommunication and information technologies in order to provide clinical health care at a distance. Why New Orleans, USA?

New Orleans is a Louisiana city on the Mississippi River, near the Gulf of Mexico. Nicknamed the "Big Easy," it's known for its round-the-clock nightlife, vibrant live-music scene and spicy, singular cuisine reflecting its history as a melting pot of French, African and American cultures. Embodying its festive spirit is Mardi Gras, the late-winter carnival famed for raucous costumed parades and public partying. New Orleans, with its richly mottled old buildings, its sly, sophisticated - sometimes almost disreputable - air, and its Hispanic-Gallic traditions, has more the flavor of an old European capital than an American city. Townhouses in the French Quarter, with their courtyards and carriageways, are thought by some scholars to be related on a small scale to certain Parisian "hotels" - princely urban residences of the 17th and 18th centuries. Visitors particularly remember the decorative cast-iron balconies that cover many of these townhouses like ornamental filigree cages. New Orleans Mardi Gras may only happen once a year, but you can learn about and experience certain aspects of it year round!

The weather of Orleans is 61°F (16°C), Wind N at 10 mph (16 km/h), 88% Humidity. Facilities for recreation and relaxation in New Orleans are justly famous. New Orleans is often referred to as “the city that care forgot,” and it has always been a town for those seeking a good time. Its residents love music, dancing, and a “Continental Sunday” spent in amusements. The three factors that have contributed to its popularity with tourists are the Old World charm of the Spanish-French architecture in its Vieux Carré (French: “Old Square”), the reckless abandon of its Carnival and Mardi Gras, and its reputation as the birthplace, between the 1880s and World War I, of jazz.
